Are we even trying anymore?

Please tell me that was from fanfic, or something internet-based like a blog. I don't think I could bear it if it was a (supposedly) edited publication. Not that I haven't seen some epic typos and downright made-up words in academic publications.

Re: *twitches*
Yeah, it was fanfic (thank the heavens). If it had been a book or mangazine, I'd have probably shot someone.

Aaaand, I just realized I actually messed up. I meant to post this one to wrongworddammit. I blame the shock of reading that (seriously. Noutous? I'm still reeling from that), the drugs I'm taking so I can finally stop coughing my lungs out and lack of sleep :P

Not to mention nauseous is an adjective that can't be used like that. If it was being used properly, it would be "it nauseated him to think...". But obvs we expect too much.

I'm impressed. I've seen some pretty bad word manglings, but not many on this level - I think the only one I've seen which comes close was "regegthed", and I still don't know what that one was supposed to mean.

Hehehe, yeah, I remember "regegthed". My flabber's pretty gasted about that one, too, although google search tries to correct me to "rejected", which sounds pretty plausible (if the fic you found "regegthed" in is the one that shows up in google).

Also, you can see how rattled I was about "noutous", that I mixed up posting to wrongworddammit with posting to my own journal.
